The RCM sensor directly measures the amount of corrosion thinning.
The metal electrodes are arranged on a single plane to compensate for temperature-induced resistance changes. Featuring one side protected by an anti-corrosion coating, the sensor accurately determines corrosion volume based on the resistance ratio between the exposed and reference parts.
Sensor Lineup
Various shapes are available to suit different environments. We also accept custom orders.

Flat Type
- Step-free design prevents disconnection.
- ldeal for evaluating plated steel sheets.

Flexible Type
- ldeal for curved surface measurements.

Overlap Type
- Ideal for uneven objects.
Specifications
The metal electrodes feature an elongated design to maximize the measured electrical resistance, ensuring higher sensitivity.
To minimize the effects of temperature changes, the sensor uses the electrical resistance of an identical, covered electrode placed side-by-side as a reference, calculating corrosion changes from the resistance ratio.
